helix

In 2008, the helix tst was a sold-out success! We introduced TST, torsional stretch technology, further isolating the shoulder panels from the body of the suit, to improve flexibility. Combined with the existing quick exit legs, reverse zipper and multi-stretch cuffs, the helix improvements made for a faster, more comfortable suit. In 2007 this was the suit of choice for athletes in the pro ranks, and based on their feedback, led to the enhancements that didn’t change that perception in 2008.

pointzero 3 +

The pointzero3 was the product of thinking about maximizing performance during non-wetsuit legal swims. The super slick top layer on the pointzero3 has a drag coefficient of 0.032 which is over 50 times lower than skin and more than 4 times lower than other swimskins on the market. The pointzero3 features the double hoop of high stretch materials that forms the same helix shape found in the wetsuit of the same name. This extra-stretchy band of high quality Lycra works
to mechanically decouple the arms from the rest of the suit.

When we released the first of our nero suits in late 2007, it started us on a path that took us pool side Beijing, for the 2008 Olympic games.
